Each year, the Information Technology Association of Galway (ITAG) hosts a glittering awards ceremony to celebrate local companies that have made exceptional contributions in the field of Information Technology.

Each year a host of companies are assessed for their contributions and achievements over the course of the year. The main aim of the award program is to encourage, promote, and strengthen the Information technology industry in the west of Ireland and to encourage growth in the IT sector. The ITAG award program is now in its 14th year and has helped to raise awareness of the efforts of West of Ireland companies and to promote the sterling work of Galway-based technology companies.

The highly coveted ITAG Awards are issued for excellence and help to promote new talent, recognize the potential in start-up organizations, celebrate IT in the community, and special achievements by individuals working in the IT sector.

The effort and commitment of the TitanHQ team was recognised this year, with the company receiving the 2016 Enterprise Award for excellence and for TitanHQ’s outstanding contribution as product innovators.

The awards panel rated TitanHQ as a center of technical excellence, a driver of regional economic growth, and for the company’s contributions in Galway and around the world.

The ITAG award is the latest in a string of awards bestowed upon the TitanHQ in recent months, adding to the SC (Secure Computing) magazine award, a Red Herring award, three consecutive awards from Virus Bulletin, and CRN’s (Computer Reseller News) Coolest Vendor.

At the awards ceremony Ronan Kavanagh, CEO of TitanHQ thanked the TitanHQ team and said “This recognition from ITAG combined with our recent awards is a wonderful acknowledgment of how our security solutions are resonating with businesses today.”
